Find a Chiari Support Group

You don’t have to navigate Chiari alone. Crazy by Chiari believes patients, families, and caregivers should know about every available opportunity to find understanding, education, and community.

The following recurring virtual support groups are available throughout the month. 

All times are listed in Eastern Time.

You are welcome to participate in whichever groups best meet your needs. Each organization independently manages its meetings, registration, and schedule. Dates may occasionally change, so please confirm meeting information with the hosting organization before attending.

Second Thursday of each month | 7:00–9:00 p.m.

Our peer-led Zoom meetings provide a welcoming place for individuals, families, and caregivers navigating Chiari malformation and its common related conditions. Attendees can share experiences, discuss everyday challenges, celebrate progress, and connect with people who understand.

First Wednesday of each month | 6:00–7:00 p.m.

GNI’s virtual meetings feature medical professionals, guest speakers, educational discussions, and opportunities for patients and families to ask questions.

Adults and caregivers: Last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

High school and college students: Last Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m.

These virtual meetings offer separate opportunities for adults, caregivers, and younger members of the Chiari and syringomyelia community to connect with peers.
